Our Straumann Villeret Site in Switzerland, where this position is located, is the largest site of our manufacturing network, with approximately 1000 employees and is focused on dental Implants Manufacturing
As Supply Chain Excellence Manager, you will be responsible to drive and implement continuous improvement projects within our Supply Chain site organization. In this role you will be managing a new team of 2 persons and reporting directly into the Site Head of Supply Chain
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Transformation:
- Lead the roll out of the Group solution for Detailed Production Scheduling on our manufacturing site.
- Lead and implement a KPI Dashboard to drive Supply Chain improvements in collaboration with global and local Supply Chain teams and Master Data & Business Analytics Team
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure reliable and compliant supply chain processes across our manufacturing site, with an end-to-end approach from raw & packaging material to finished products.
- Implement best practices to enhance productivity
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement within the supply chain
- Lead changes of Supply Chain processes to align with and support the industrial transformation of our manufacturing site.
- Drive and implement continuous improvement Supply Chain initiatives to reduce lead times, costs and improve efficiency.
- Work with local and global Supply Chain teams to standardize Supply Chain processes and drive process innovation across the supply chain.

Competences
- Supply Chain Engineer with 5 year experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the medical device industry
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw clear conclusions and act on business KPI’s
- Self-starter and team player with self-drive, willing to be hands on and add value in a dynamic and changing organization
- Experience of a production scheduling and planning systems ideally as implementer and as a user and preferably in a complex industrial and highly regulated environment
- Demonstrated experience in managing change projects and working effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, including ability to work independently and handle multiple projects / streams
- Proven experience and/or capability in leadership
- Certified Six sigma/Lean/Green Belt & Certified APICS
- Deep Knowledge of ERP SAP system, Business Intelligence tool Power B
