Job description
The role of Customer Support Technician involves installing our products at client locations, providing customer support, and conducting field visits to address technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will act as a vital link between our products and our clients, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Product Installation: Install, configure, and test our products at client sites to ensure optimal functionality. Provide hands-on demonstrations and training to clients on product usage.
- Customer Support: Serve as the first point of contact for technical support inquiries, troubleshooting issues via phone, email, or in-person. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions.
- Field Visits: Conduct on-site inspections, repairs, and upgrades as needed. Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer complaints or technical concerns.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain installation manuals, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
- Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with the engineering and sales teams to communicate customer feedback and technical challenges. Provide insights for improving product design, functionality, and user experience.

Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in engineering, IT, electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product installation, technical support, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel frequently and internationally to client locations (up to 50% of the time).
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Preferred skills and qualification
- Proficiency in French
- Familiarity with laboratory workflows and automation technologies.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift and handle technical equipment during installations.
