Product Manager Apparel (Maternity Cover | Temporary Contract), 80-100% (m/w/d)

• You are responsible for the global collection management (apparel / accessories / equipment) of namuk and shape namuk’s product vision together with the founder.
• You will work closely with Design, Development, Operations, Marketing and Sales to develop products and collections that fit the brand and meet the needs of our customers.
• You will manage product launches, provide operational and technical support to our marketing and sales teams, and ensure go-to-market plans are met.
• You develop product specifications and assortment definitions and are responsible for ensuring that all product data base is correctly available internally.
• You continuously inform yourself about new trends and innovations and ensure that our assortment is future-oriented and industry-leading. You also attend trade fairs and conferences.
• You act as a link to our suppliers and producers and make sure that we are as efficient as possible in terms of pricing/margins and that we reach our goals.
• You are responsible of the product calendar creation and management: setting timelines and meeting deadlines for product, development and design.
• You are responsible of fabric booking in alignment with the operations team.
• You ensure quality is met from all stand points by checking and approving fabric test reports and production inspection reports.
• Together with development , you are in charge of briefing, sourcing and testing new fabrics.
• You are responsible of creating and evolving processes for maximum efficiency.
• You are responsible of managing different projects within the team (sustainability, product excellence, development, operations, etc).

Your profile

• Deep understanding of the premium lifestyle and outdoor market with a clear focus on sustainability. Passion for the outdoors and/or fashion industry, affinity for design
• Demonstrated strength in project management and ability to manage different complex projects at a time, meet key timelines and deadlines, and own processes through from start to finish
• A business and/or textile engineering degree and 5+ years of industry experience in global product management or collection development
• You are used to working conceptually and have a very good command of written and spoken English
• Digital readiness: You are familiar with MS Office programs/Google Suite. Additionally, editing a techpack in Illustrator and filling out a BoM is no problem for you
• You have very high quality standards in your daily work, work precisely, have a keen eye for detail and maintain a good overview even in hectic times
• You are hands on and you like to take on a lot of responsibility and ownership from day 1. You work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset and are motivated to further develop namuk’s product offering
• You are open-minded, able to work under pressure, committed and communicative and enjoy working in a small team
• You are motivated and willing to work in a young team and to tackle topics that are not directly in your area of responsibility
