Are you an experienced German/English-speaking EHS specialist looking for a new challenge in Switzerland? Our client, a globally-operating pharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced EHS specialist to join their team at their plant location in the region around Luzern.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor compliance with applicable safety regulations
  • Provide technical advice on EHS matters
  • Participate in internal and external safety audits
  • Ensure the client's EHS standards are implemented, focusing on supplier management, personal protective equipment (PPE), hazardous energy control (ECM and Loto), electrical safety, hot work with open flames, confined spaces, and elevated work
  • Develop and create RAMS, work instructions, and energy control planning forms
  • Oversee the planning and execution of high-risk tasks
  • Update the site's safety concept – working with the team to ensure critical safety features work flawlessly
  • Prepare and run safety awareness training programs inline with safety regulations
  • Manage and expand the site's safety concept
  • Advise and assist in investigating accidents, near-misses, and occupational diseases
  • Facilitate the client's high-risk work permit program
  • Manage data in the reporting systems

Your Profile:

  • Certified "Safety Officer SUVA" (Switzerland) or a similar international certification, such as "Occupational Safety Specialist" or "Safety Engineer" (Germany), NEBOSH IGC, or a similar NEBOSH diploma
  • You have 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Audit experience is required, experience in a GMP environment is preferred
  • Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written
