About the role
- The printing and manufacture of tube and packaging labels for all manufacturing departments here in Plymouth. Increased label demand due to IVDR, EC Rep, future growth and other ongoing projects
Main responsibilities will include:
- Safe and efficient operation of Mark Andy/Edale printing presses and associated Slit and Rewind machines.
- To be aware of the required quality standards in the work areas allocated and be capable of performing to the required acceptable quality levels.
- Following operational procedures and adhering to quality standards.
- Performs all manufacturing operations involving optimum observation of environmental and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements to meet Company expectations and customer satisfaction.
- Use of SAP systems and general computer use (Excell/Word etc.)
- To maintain logs and records as required in connection with the process.
- Maintain equipment and allocated work areas in a clean and safe condition at all times.
- Maintain engagement through Kaizen/CI participation.
- Work efficiently and co-operate with stake holders across the site.
About you
A friendly outgoing associate who will work well within a small team. A good level of technical, manufacturing or printing knowledge is preferred, although not essential as training will be given.
- Good communication skills are essential.
- Basic computer skills (Excel/Word etc.)
- Flexibility with overtime support when required.
