Description and Requirements
Qualify suppliers, processes, equipment, devices and tools and commodities according to planning;
Ensure that suppliers meet the quality, reliability, functionality, characteristics and performance specifications within the Quality Standards certified by the Company and by any government certification standard,
Ensure clear and accurate communication of technical problems and requirements;
Contribute to improving process performance and solving technical problems with suppliers and/or production lines, through failure analysis and making sure that corrective actions are implemented appropriately and within the specified deadline;
Provide continuous feedback to suppliers about their performance in relation to their competition, new technology, qualifications, failure analysis, quality improvement, reliability, etc.;
Take care of Lenovo equipment and materials used in the development of its functions, such as notebooks, cell phones, tools, backpacks, and others;
Comply with the standards and procedures contained in the Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Management Systems, as well as other Lenovo standards, procedures, and policies;
Perform other tasks related to the position and/or determined by the company.
Collect information from Quality Global team and lead sites on new products and assure implementation of quality requirements / targets on supplier process
Work on targets definition for KPIs and follow up on KPI results and target achievement
Quality Management Skills
Definition
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Knowledge of PLM systems and how to manage a product’s lifecycle from conception to disposal.
Inspection Techniques
Proficiency in various inspection methods, such as visual inspection, automated testing, and non-destructive testing.
Quality Standards & regulatory
Understanding of the specific quality challenges, standards, and regulations relevant to the product and the industry specific regulations
Lean Manufacturing
