What you'll be doing
We're seeking a HPLC Chemist to join our team with an outstanding mix of people based in our Castlebar, Co. Mayo site.
What will you do?
- Analyse samples from various phases of the manufacturing process
- Operate and maintain HPLC, UPLC & GC instrumentation
- Interpret data and meet strict guidelines on documentation when recording data
- Report analytical results
- Complete review of work completed by other HPLC Chemists
- Ensure the HPLC Chemistry laboratory is operated in a compliant manner.
- Support the generation and approval of Quality Reviews and Annual Product Quality Reviews
- Help to maintain quality assurance programme and procedures for the Chemistry lab.
What do you need?
- Qualification in Chemistry or relevant Science subject
- Knowledge of HPLC instrumentation and software, including data collection and processing.
- Experience with Waters HPLCs and the use of Empower software is crucial.
- You will have excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine curiosity about business
