Paralegal Officer 100% - (Temporary 8 months)
As a Paralegal Officer in our Legal Affairs department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal framework while helping to identify and protect the interests of Debiopharm Group entities. Your primary focus will be on the preparation and management of various contracts and agreements.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Review a variety of agreements in relation to clinical trials (clinical trial agreements, services agreements, consultancy agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc.)
- Assist the legal department members on other legal matters not relating to clinical trials such as legal presentations, implementation of IT tools, Intellectual Property Matters a plus
- Assist with drafting, reviewing and negotiating different type of agreement especially confidentiality agreements , consultancy agreement, services agreements, material transfer agreements and amendments under the supervision of lawyers
- Participate in internal projects meetings, working with internal and external stakeholders (including third parties and outside counsel as necessary)
- Different administrative tasks (signature, filling, keeping trackers, etc.)
- Law Degree (Paralegal, Bachelor, or equivalent) with 3-5 years of experience in negotiating and drafting legal agreements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French (C1).
- Previous experience in the Life Sciences sector is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with Intellectual Property matters is a valuable asset.
- Interpersonal skills needed to work effectively in an international organization across various business areas.
- Self-motivated, you are a collaborative team player eager to join a passionate team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to quickly prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- 2 days of home office every week
