Job Description
- Lead and support projects and initiatives to continually improve the logistic flows, in straight collaboration with Logistics’ Leads as well as with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate and support enhancement needs of future ERP and boundaries systems
- In collaboration with the Logistic Project Lead, lead project and initiatives of logistic flows from the receiving of the products up to the shipment to customers
- Perform investigations and analysis (root cause, fit-gap, data collection) to answer to the need of operation.
- Perform inventory analysis to continually ensure the required storage capacity, and location of products based on picking demand.
- Support in defining future requirements for new or existing system application and to support enhancement request for ERP and boundaries systems in collaboration of Logistics Leads, Logistics Super User and STAAR IT.
- Take the administrator role on the RFSmart & Ship Console boundary systems.
- Lead continuous improvement meetings by preparing agenda and updating KPI’s
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or project management with advance knowledge of Lean Management
- Further education in Lean Management Green Belt certification is highly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar field like Manufacturing/Logistics engineering environment
- Experience in leading medium range projects in a multi-cultural environment is preferred
- Knowledge of GMP/GDP and ISO 13485 standards is highly preferred
- German or French, English a must have
- Excellent ability to analyze, interpret and communicate in a clear and concise way to decision makers at all levels
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office applications) and Ability to quickly learn new system and functionalities (e.g. Power BI, OTBI)
