We are looking for passionate professionals to join our Human Factors & User Experience department in Solothurn on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave, who want to join our vision and grow with us.

Support us in the production and development of cutting-edge medical technology solutions that enable people around the world to self-manage diabetes and other chronic diseases.

Your main tasks

  • Responsibility for planning and execution of Human Factors Engineering programs according to current standards and guidelines (i.e., IEC 62366, FDA HFE Guidance, etc.)
  • Planning, coordination and monitoring of formative and summative HF studies (with internal and external researchers)
  • Analysis, interpretation and documentation of findings from HF studies including recommendations for product development (user interface & industrial design)
  • Creation and maintenance of usability engineering files for product approvals in collaboration with the project or product teams
  • Consulting of product and project managers regarding regulatory requirements for Human Factors / Usability Engineering

Your profile

  • Bachelor/Master (FH/Uni) in Human Factors or Psychology or other studies with a focus on Ergonomics/Usability/Human Factors
  • Experience in the application of usability/human factors engineering for medical devices (IEC 62366 as well as FDA HFE Guidance)
  • Experience in international submissions in the field of medical devices (EU MDR, FDA, Health Canada, etc.)
