Why we need this role
Deliver on key ESG projects and initiatives in partnership with relevant internal and external stakeholders globally, including research, project planning and delivery. Partner with our Communications, marketing and brand teams to engage employees in the Colt ESG agenda and create compelling communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
What you will do
Communications and Marketing
Partner with Corporate Communications to engage employees in our ESG & Compliance work internally and with external partners and stakeholders including campaigns and social media content
Call out initiatives for internal/external stories, including gathering data and insights from our ESG initiatives and tracking activity for the purpose of developing case studies and impact reports
Management and delivery of ESG Intranet and colt.net content including updating, reshaping, translating, adapting accordingly based on audience – develop a process with clear timelines of what needs to be done by when, e.g. Sustainability report release date, clear plan of what follows.
Liaise with the brand team (intranet and colt.net content, events, merchandising etc.)
Support with strategy and campaign for Business Travel reduction
ESG Calendar and Events
Manage the Colt-wide calendar of global and local ESG events and the corresponding communications plan. Actively engaging with stakeholders to source and develop content aligned with key dates.
Align with Events Team on Colt’s participation in external events.
Awards and submissions
Support on Eco Vadis submission and stakeholder engagement
Support the ESG team on benchmarking and award submissions, and in the relationships with external partners and networks
Other
Support across the ESG team on delivery of initiatives or projects required to drive the ESG strategy at Colt including researching ESG best practices and providing recommendations on approach
Work with 3rd party vendors where applicable for launching and delivering ESG initiatives
Green Teams and CSR leads - support and coordination with engagement
What we're looking for
Prior experience in Environmental, Social and Governance field
Prior professional experience with communications and marketing
Collaborative and team oriented
Understanding of content management for different channels, e.g. Intranet, blog etc.
Experience in reporting and analytics having an understanding of how to pull data together to provide insights and measurable outcomes
Project management skillset
Influencing skills
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Scienc, Communications or a related field would be desirable
