Your responsibilities

Application of modern biostatistics to large scale datasets. These include Next Generation Sequencing data (e.g. single cell/nuclei RNA seq data).
Establishing a two-photon calcium imaging analysis pipeline for pericytes in cerebral slices.
Project management and supervising doctoral students.

Your profile

  • PhD in Intergative Molecular Medicine or in Neuroscience
  • Experience in the field of cerebrobvascular biology
  • Experience analyzing two-photon calcium imaging data to elucidate cellular activity
  • Minimum 3 years of postoc experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the analysis of single cell/nuclei RNA-seq data
  • Knowlegde in R and Python
  • Experience with mouse handling and breeding transgenic mouse lines
  • Valid FELASA cat. B certificate
  • Demonstrated experience in imaging techniques confocal microscopy and light-sheet microscopy and image analysis
  • Experience in cell culture techniques
