Credit Manager, Corporate Accounts

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Global Head of Credit & Collections, this person will manage a team of 6 Credit & Collections professionals who are responsible for driving continuous process and performance improvements for IWG’s corporate customer portfolio, maximising debtor cash collections and minimising any risk of late payment and bad debt.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to foster effective teamwork between the team and cross functional teams and provide exceptional customer service.


• Provide leadership and direction ensuring members of the team achieve their full potential.


• Embed and support 360-degree account management of key corporate customers.


• Monitor, manage and analyse performance to ensure collection targets and other KPIs are met​.


• Leverage available technology to drive performance and enhance results.


• Ensure regular meetings are diarised and performed with key account managers and cross functions to review debtors and disputes, keeping parties informed of initiatives, issues and progress.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• CICM or alternative relevant qualification desirable.


• Experience in managing an international team across different time-zones.


• 5+ years’ Credit Control or other relevant operational experience, ideally with a large international B2B corporation or equivalent.


• Works cooperatively and effectively with others to achieve goals, resolve issues, promote and implement solutions that enhance cross functional relationships and team performance.


• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in a thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective tools and techniques.


• Demonstrable proven track record in Credit & Collections or other Operations / Finance support functions.


• A confident decision maker.


• Proven experience of successfully influencing stakeholders in a matrix environment. 


• Prioritises well and consistently delivers against tight deadlines.  


• Team player with a high degree of professional integrity.  


• Excellent analytical skills with a passionate attitude to problem solving. 


• Strong attention to detail.  


• Comfortable with ambiguity and prepared to work in an agile and flexible way.
