We are seeking a Head of Procurement to join Packfeeder. As the Head of Procurement, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the supply chain, ensuring the efficient and effective acquisition of materials and services for our innovative packaging machinery.

Job Overview
The Head of Procurement will be responsible for leading the purchasing department at Packfeeder, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of materials, services, and products necessary for the company's ongoing operations. This position requires a combination of strategic and operational skills to manage the supply chain, optimize costs, and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing: identifying potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities, negotiating contracts, and selecting the best suppliers to meet the organization's needs at the most favorable terms.
- Supplier Management: Bulling and maintaining relationships with suppliers, managing supplier performance, conducting supplier evaluation, and addressing any Issues or concerns that arise.
- Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure that terms and conditions are favorable to the organization and compliant with regulations.
- Cost Management: Analyzing costs. identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to optimize spending while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating risks related to procurement activities, such as supply chain disruptions, supplier financial stability. and compliance with regulations and ethical standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring Inventory levels, forecasting demand, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
- Quality Assurance: Establishing quality standards for purchased goods and services, conducting inspections and audits, and ensuring that suppliers meet quality requirements.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborating with other departments to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives. supporting organizational growth and sustainability
- Compliance and Ethics: Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as ethical standards, In procurement processes and supplier relationships.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Is a plus: Master’s degree in supply chain management, Purchasing Management, or related certifications (CPSM, CPIM)
Experience
- More than 5 years of experience in industrial machinery or equipment.
Skills:
- Spanish and English Advance.
- Proficiency in ERP tools and purchasing management software.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of supply chain management and purchasing strategies.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
