Lead System Engineer Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking for an experienced Lead System Engineer to join EPAM and support our client from the financial services area in their office in Geneva.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing a comprehensive migration plan, outlining the strategy, timeline and resources required for a successful transition.

The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using M365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Office 365 applications including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint Online
  • Manage and support Windows 11 endpoints including configuration management, patching and troubleshooting
  • Implement and manage M365 security services such as Advanced Threat Protection, Cloud App Security and Azure Information Protection
  • Provide L2 and L3 Support for M365 services including email, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive for Business
  • Develop and implement automation solutions using scripting languages such as PowerShell
  • Collaborate with other engineers, project managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements, propose solutions and provide updates on project progress

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as M365 Engineer
  • Strong technical skills in M365 services including Office 365, Windows 11, EMS and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell
  • Familiarity with M365 security services such as Advanced Threat Protection, Cloud App Security and Azure Information Protection
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient communication skills in English are a must, while knowledge of the French language is a significant advantage
