The Opportunity
Join our dynamic team at Hitachi Energy as a Product Marketing & Sales Specialist - Generator Circuit Breakers (GCB).
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development within the GCB market in your designated area. You will build long-term customer relationships, address specific customer needs, and identify new sales opportunities. As a key player in our team, you will act as the technical advisor for GCB applications, collaborating closely with Project Management, Application, and Product Management teams.
How You Will Make an Impact

Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain effective relationships to understand customer needs and promote our GCB offerings, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process

Technical Support: Assist customers and the local sales organization in finding the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, preparing demanding offers, and providing product/solution-related training

Sales Strategy: Define transfer prices, sell the entire GCB portfolio, and focus on volume, mix, and profitability targets. Participate in sales strategy discussions, agree on short and long-term goals, and contribute to the development of sales plans and strategies

Marketing Activities: Ensure efficient marketing activities and value propositions to customers, supporting the local sales organization with relevant product and market knowledge
Your Background

Master’s degree in electrical engineering

Previous experience in power generation plants is advantageous

At least 5 years of experience in marketing and sales roles, with B2B market experience being a plus

Business fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Fluency in Chinese is an advantage. High customer orientation and strong team-working skills are essential
