Be a part of NIRIS’s next growth phase. We're looking for a Senior Engineer full-stack & AI to cement our existing team of EPFL students and alumni. Your role will involve leveraging interconnected software and databases, coupled with Machine Learning and AI, to automate workflows and processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Driving the entire development process, focusing on functionalities, ergonomics, user interfaces, and information systems (design, process, implementation, etc.).
- Managing the production release of our IT products while offering expert advice to our teams.
- Collaborating with our team of accountants to automate existing accounting and logistical processes.
- Manage accounting data from banking systems, ERP systems, and other software.
- Build a centralized database for automated accounting input.
- Automate administrative tasks and NIRIS customer specifications.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions on internal optimization.
- Improving internal tools through a problem-solving approach.

Qualifications
Personal Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills and structured approach to information.
- Autonomous and thorough, capable of handling multiple tasks at once.

- Ability to supervise a team.
Technical Skills:
- Passionate about data science, particularly language models (LLMs) applied to finance, with some knowledge in ML.
- Proficient in overseeing IT production deployment (important).
- Experience managing sensitive data and ensuring data safety.
- Proficient in process and/or application design.
- Experience with various databases.
- Basic knowledge in accounting and finance (debit/credit notions, financial statements).
- Expertise with Python, JavaScript, and its frameworks (TypeScript, Next.js, React, etc.), Docker.
- Experience in UX/UI design.
- Knowledge of accounting software (Crésus, Winbiz, Bexio, ODOO, Banana) is an asset.
Language Skills:
- French (minimum level C1)
- English (minimum level B2)
- German (an asset)
