About the Role
As a Sales Trainer, you will be instrumental in elevating the sales performance of our team by imparting advanced workflow knowledge, sales skills, and leadership development techniques. Your role will require you to have a deep understanding of sales processes and training methodologies, as you will be tasked with developing and producing a wide array of instructional materials and trainings to ensure our sales teams have the skills and insights needed to deliver exceptional value to our customers.
What You Will Do
Design and deliver comprehensive training programs focusing on audit workflows, CRM tools, and other technology platforms to optimize sales processes and efficiency.
Develop and refine sales scripts, lesson plans, participant guides, and a diverse array of training-related documentation to support learning objectives.
Enhance sales skills across the team by providing instruction on advanced sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and customer engagement methodologies.
Facilitate a range of training sessions for both new hires and seasoned sales/account management employees, utilizing classroom settings, live online, and e-learning modalities to maximize reach and retention.
Continuously update and tailor training content to reflect the latest product features, market trends, and competitive insights, ensuring our sales force remains at the forefront of the industry.
Engage with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to curate the most relevant and impactful training materials.
Collaborate closely with Sales Enablement to enrich new hire training programs, focusing on product and industry knowledge, as well as sophisticated sales techniques.
Spearhead initiatives for continuing education and certification, fostering a culture of ongoing professional development within the sales teams.
Gather and synthesize feedback from employees and managers to assess training effectiveness and identify opportunities for further enhancement.
Partner with internal stakeholders to review and refine learning & development strategies, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
About You
Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and strategies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Collaborative spirit to work with cross-functional partners i.e. Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, etc
Ability to stay current with product updates, market trends, and competitive insights.
Excellent organizational skills to manage training schedules, resources, and stakeholders.
Knowledge of Thomson Reuters Tax and Accounting Products, with a focus on Audit, preferred, whether as an internal employee or from a customer perspective.
Experience in a quota carrying role preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Communication, Human Resources or relevant field preferred.
Relevant certifications and/or experience in training, instructional design, sales, or a related field are highly desired.
