Are you passionate about sustainability and driving impactful climate action? Join us as a Sustainability & Climate Specialist and play a pivotal role in our journey toward carbon neutrality. In this role, you will lead efforts to refine our CO2 reduction roadmap, enhance carbon accounting practices, and manage critical climate-related reporting and disclosures. Your expertise will help us navigate regulatory developments, assess risks and opportunities, and ensure progress toward ambitious sustainability targets.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the development of the groupwide CO2 reduction and transition roadmap on the path to carbon neutrality
- Generate the annual CO2 and environmental balance sheet, continuously expanding its data scope
- Enhance carbon accounting methodologies across all emission scopes
- Coordinate annual climate reporting to meet regulatory (CSRD) and voluntary commitments
- Lead the annual CDP disclosures, from data collection to submission
- Conduct scenario analysis and regularly assess climate-related risks and opportunities
- Provide input for ESG/sustainability ratings, with a focus on climate-related aspects
- Monitor CO2 target progress, ensuring KPIs are tracked, evaluated and reported accurately
- Calculate product carbon footprints and perform lifecycle assessments
- Stay informed on regulatory developments related to CO2 and sustainability issues
- Participate in and contribute to specific sustainability-related project
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in environmental science, sustainability, environmental management, or a quantitative field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role or in sustainability consulting
- Proven expertise in creating carbon and environmental balance sheets
- Experience in product carbon footprint calculations and lifecycle assessments
- Deep understanding of climate risks, opportunities, and carbon accounting principles
- Knowledge about sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., ESRS, GRI, CDP, TCFD, GHG Protocol)
- High affinity for analytical tasks, with attention to detail and proficiency in handling large datasets
- Strong coordination skills to manage cross-functional tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a solution-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working independently
- Fluency in English and German is essential
- Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
