The role
An ideal client finance manager is a strategic partner in Valtech’s finance team. This role will perform client finance operations, collections, and reporting KPIs to senior leadership in Valtech.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong professional knowledge, communication and analytical skills, with the ability to partner with the business team in a collaborative way. The client finance manager will report directly to the America’s Controller
Role responsibilities
- Manage interactions between client and sales team leadership to ensure proper
onboarding/offboarding of clients, including review of forecasted and historical billings
- Responsible for presenting invoicing aging analysis and client finance KPIs to senior
management on a weekly basis
- Lead a team of 3 based out of Buenos Aires and Chicago.
- Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate invoicing of client
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and help resolve collection disputes with clients
- Oversee Client Finance to ensure data accuracy in Sales Force: Rate Cards (bill rates
and effective discounting), Payment Terms, Project Details (start/end dates), budget
management, and etc.
Ad hoc analysis and reporting for management as required from time to time
Minimum qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related degree
- 6+ years relevant working experience in client finance, project accounting, financial planning and analysis
- 2+ years of managerial/supervisory experience
- Good leadership skills and capabilities
- Advanced Excel and GSuite skills
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Database Management is a plus
- Experience with Salesforce PSA / NetSuite OpenAir / Oracle is a plus
- Experience managing an international team is a plus
