The intern will be joining the team of 3 in
Geneva handling Corporate Treasury and Banking for IATA.
Reporting to the Director Corporate Treasury, the intern will be responsible for assisting the Treasury & Banking team with collection, review and approval of Banking and Banking related contracts and documentation, maintenance of key databases and various projects as required.
Regarding Banking contracts and Banking related documents, responsibilities will include checking, printing, obtaining signatures and legalizations, scanning, shipping and tracking of documents.
Maintenance of several key databases such as the IATA Bank Accounts database including verification of open and closed bank accounts against SAP, the Sanctioned funds database, the Bank Guarantees database, as well as preparing the Banks’ credit rating scorecard.
Monthly check on leavers to be removed as signatories on bank accounts.
Treasury & Banking process improvements and enhanced tracking including Banking Contracts and documents filling management.
Assisting with projects as requested by Treasury & Banking including Banking RFPs and Treasury reports such as Mark to market.
Co-ordinating the weekly Treasury & Banking meetings and taken the minutes.
Assisting the new Director Corporate Treasury
University degree in accounting/finance and equivalent experience desirable in finance/treasury admin work.
Speaking and writing fluently in English. Knowledge of any other languages will be counted as plus.
Good communication skills, attention to details and organized.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft tools such as xls, MS word, databases, PowerPoint
