ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB
As a Modern Trade Channel Developer, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with large retail chains, supermarkets, and other modern trade partners. Your main goal will be to increase sales and promote our products in modern trade outlets. This role requires you to build strong connections with key decision-makers, execute marketing strategies, and monitor market trends to achieve sales targets and to ensure B2B sustainability.
ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conducts market visits on daily/weekly basis to ensure contractual agreement is implemented across all interruption points and all categories in collaboration with sales team.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of modern trade initiatives.
* Handles all the operational/on ground issues that need an interference from the internal supporting functions (supply chain, finance, trade marketing, cooling, quality, collection, etc.).
* Builds and maintains relationship with the outlet’s managers on a primarily level and the customer’s purchasing team on a secondary level to facilitate the business framework and ensure high competitive edge
* Develop and execute strategies to identify, engage, and secure partnerships with modern trade partners, including retail chains, supermarkets, and hypermarkets.
* Attends monthly meetings with customers on a head office level to discuss business reviews, way forward plan and current issues/opportunities
* Contributes to the contractual agreement process through giving market insights from field visits.
* Prepare regular reports and presentations on channel performance, market trends, and competitor activities for management review.
* Collaborate with the trade marketing team to develop and execute modern trade-specific marketing campaigns and activations.
ARE THSES YOUR SECERET INGRIDENTS
* Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Business or equivalent education.
* 3 to 5 years of relevant business experience.
* Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
* Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at different levels
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market insights.
* Results-oriented with good time management skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Willingness to travel as required.
