Job Description
As an Application Manager within the Information Technology department your primary responsibilities will include:

Serving as the main point of contact for business stakeholders (e.g., application owners, business analysts, and business users) and acting as a hands-on partner within IT for core Private Markets applications such as FIS Investran, Hazeltree, and others;

Leading the ongoing development of these applications and their integration into the broader application ecosystem, collaborating with both internal and external partners. This includes identifying, evaluating, and defining new requirements, as well as coordinating the delivery of solutions;

Managing system configuration and setup and monitoring the health and performance of the applications;

Planning and overseeing the testing of new features and product releases;

Playing a key role in IT projects at LGT Capital Partners related to the Private Markets application domain;

Coordinating with application providers, business stakeholders, and IT teams (including Development and Infrastructure) to manage product roadmaps and ensure the smooth operation of systems;

Maintaining comprehensive documentation for Private Markets applications and ensuring compliance with the organization’s quality standards;

Actively contributing to the evolving business and system architecture within the Private Markets domain.
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent higher education) in Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field;

Self-motivated, proactive, with a strong sense of ownership, initiative, and problem-solving abilities;

Extensive hands-on experience in supporting, customizing, and developing applications within the Financial Services sector;

Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a highly structured and goal-oriented approach to work;

Proficiency in data management, particularly using SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake);
-
Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus);

Familiarity with FIS Investran, Hazeltree, or similar accounting/payment applications is a plus;

Programming experience is an advantage.
