The design of high voltage (HV) devices, such as gas circuit breakers (CB), requires – among others – the prediction of arc extinction and dielectric withstand phenomena. The research activities in the area of gas circuit breakers are enhanced by various computer-aided-engineering tools and IT technologies. The aim of the internship is to design and improve in-house experimental data post-processing and analysis tools which are integral to CB research. The duration of the internship is 6 months.
