At Sunrise, sustainability is a top priority. As part of our growing Sustainability team, you will play a key role in driving impactful initiatives, particularly focusing on quantitative environmental topics. This is a dynamic position that comes with exciting responsibilities, especially in light of our planned listing on the Swiss stock exchange.
Tasks:
- Lead and manage projects within the Sustainability team, with a focus on quantitative and technical environmental topics, in collaboration with external service providers: Oversee the management of sustainability KPIs, including the annual collection and reporting of sustainability data and monitor and enhance the quality of data, with a strong emphasis on environmental and climate-related metrics
- Plan and conduct analyses to improve external sustainability ratings (e.g., Ecovadis, CDP, S&P) in cooperation with internal teams and external partners
- Manage specific climate and environmental programs (e.g. TCFD, SBTi), including energy efficiency target agreements, and oversee the operation of the certified environmental management system (ISO 14001)
- Serve as the point of contact for business customer and investor inquiries related to sustainability, independently handling requests in consultation with other business units, and documenting and tracking requirements
- Provide support during external audits, and contribute to the development of sustainability strategies, guidelines, and compliance with legal requirements
Requirements:
- A university degree or equivalent in sustainability, engineering, or a related field, with relevant additional training or education
- A service-oriented, committed, and structured approach, with strong analytical abilities and the ability to work independently
- Quick to understand complex topics with a persuasive communication style
- Proficient in using MS Office/Office 365
- Advanced proficiency in German and English, with confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all management levels
