The IT HR Solution Expert, a key member of the Arxada IT Applications Team, is responsible for developing an IT strategic roadmap for Arxada HR systems. Collaborating closely with the HR-IS team, Arxada enterprise architecture and security team, management, and staff, this role identifies technologies that enable Arxada HR to achieve its vision and strategy. Additionally, the IT HR Solution Expert advocates for HR priorities within IT, ensuring alignment with HR objectives. The overarching goal is to simplify the HR system landscape.
Furthermore, this role manages build projects and ensures a smooth handover to the RUN organization, managed by the HR-IS Team.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop an IT Strategy & Roadmap, including a critical investment plan aligned with Arxada HR's strategic needs, in close partnership with key stakeholders.

Provide strategic consultation to business customers in defining or designing HR solutions to simplify Arxada's HR system landscape.

Assess the current state of solutions, define future state needs, identify gaps, and recommend new technology solutions and strategic business execution improvements.

Interface with Architects, Technical Leads, and Developers to drive technical solutions, estimate work efforts, define milestones, and provide hands-on technical leadership.

Highlight short-term trade-offs versus long-term commitments and determine their worth. Ensure solutions are scalable (technology), efficient (process), effective (cost), and supportable.

Conduct solution architecture research, market assessments, and facilitate solution application selections and experiments/pilots.

Formulate business and logical solution architectures with local and global functional capabilities and drive the implementation of agreed technology solutions.

Ensure the HR solution architecture remains current with business needs and direct the development of architecture activities and projects, aligning with local and global technology & solution roadmaps.

Partner with other architects and solution owners to influence standards and strategies for the enterprise in the HR space.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

8+ years of relevant work experience, including leadership and architecture-level experience, demonstrating the ability to think strategically and translate plans into actions.

Hands-on experience in designing and deploying HR IT solutions (ideally Workday).

Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, segmentation techniques, and data visualization.

Ability to understand both long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to work across organizations and build partnerships.
