How you’ll make an impact

Develop and optimize structural designs: Use advanced Finite Element Modelling (FEM) techniques to create, evaluate, and enhance structural designs in accordance with industry standards and various national codes

Structural integrity of steel connections: Analyze and improve steel connections to ensure robust structural performance under diverse conditions

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all designs meet the stringent requirements of each project

Drive innovation in Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) development: Participate in the design, testing, and enhancement of GIS support systems along with R&D, to improve performance and reliability

Seismic and dynamic analysis: Perform comprehensive seismic calculations and assessments to ensure structures meet resilience standards for safety and reliability

Mentorship and technical support: Guide and support junior engineers across various locations, enhancing resource efficiency and project delivery

On-site coordination: Liaise with on-site teams to ensure the accurate implementation of designs and resolve technical challenges

Automation and efficiency: Leverage automation tools and software to streamline design and analysis processes, improving both accuracy and productivity
Your Background
-
Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
-
Solid experience in Finite Element Modelling (FEM) and structural analysis

In-depth knowledge of various codes and national standards for calculations and design compliance

Expertise in the design and analysis of steel connections

Proficiency in seismic, dynamic, and fatigue analysis

Experience with GIS structural calculations is highly valuable

Experience with automation tools and programming skills (advantageous)

Fluent in English, with additional proficiency in German or other languages as a plus

On-site experience in structural engineering projects is beneficial

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail

Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership capabilities
