Buchs: Mechanical Engineer (m/w/d)

What you will move in this role:

You will independently develop and design highly innovative mechanical components in the CAD system and integrate them into the power electronic components, taking into account the service life requirements in the automotive industry

You will be responsible for coordinating the validation of the components based on technical specifications as well as requirements specifications

You will be responsible for proactive communication and close coordination with our worldwide partners, customers and suppliers

You will be responsible for data management as well as the creation and maintenance of parts lists

You form an interface and work closely with various internal departments

You will be responsible for the continuous optimisation of processes in the existing work environment.

What skills and experience you should bring:

You have successfully completed your studies in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or mechatronics

You have practical knowledge in the design of mechanical and electromechanical components in PTC CREO 6

You have at least three years of professional experience in the automotive industry

You have a good knowledge of the development and product creation processes in the automotive environment

You are well-versed in Office programs, data management systems and ERP

Your working method is structured, organised and analytical

You are a team player and creative to a high degree

Good written and spoken German and English skills
