WinGD is looking for a
Expert Classification
Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationship to classification societies
- Organisation of Design- and Type Approvals for 2-stroke marine technologies
- Support of internal units and engine manufacturers in classification related matters
- Procurement, self-study and storage of rules and standards from classification societies and normative institutes, with a focus on portfolio technologies (e.g. Diesel and DF engines, etc.).
- Maintenance of Classification Portals and internal IM tools
- Maintenance of Spare Part Lists and Parts Acceptance Databases
Requirements:
- Degree in mechanical engineering (BSc., MSc., Dipl.-Ing. or equivalent)
- Profound knowledge of 2-stroke marine diesel engines and technologies
- Willingness to travel abroad a few times per year
- Good communication and cooperation skills
- Independent, structured and target oriented
- Fluent in English / fluent German is of advantage
- Self-driven personality
- Team player mentality
