Your Crew:
In Nyon we are a dynamic team of 70. You will join our multidisciplinary team of 15 engineers, where you’ll develop cutting-edge technologies for the Slip Rings of tomorrow.

Your Mission:
- Leads technical project work in consultation with the project manager and coordinates the technical project work in the areas of fabrication, assembly, integration and testing.
- Plans/coordinates the technical project work in the areas of design, analysis, technology, with the aim of achieving a robust, qualified, cost-efficient technical product based on and compliant to customer specifications.
- Manages requirements: Flow down to lower-level specification, discusses requirement status with customers, handles requests for deviations and non-conformances, maintains and issues the statement of compliance and verification control document.
- Examines the existing definition of configurations and interfaces and divides them among subsystems/ subgroups.
- Analyses technical risks and problems. Develops appropriate solutions - coordinates them with the project team.
- Identifies and eliminates inconsistencies.
- Maintains direct contact with customers and suppliers in consultation with the project manager.
- Provides input to and prepares development, assembly, integration, verification and test plans, makes test evaluations.
- Coordinates and reviews the execution of tests.
- Reviews/prepares technical reports and specifications in English.
- Prepares and presents (internally and externally) technical presentations and attends meetings.
- Prepares technical quotations for major projects.
- Ensures delivery of data packages in due time.
Your Story:
- Education in mechanical, electrical or aerospace engineering, minimum FH (HES) level
- Experience with engineering, subsystems design, development, verification, and testing
- Relevant experience in interdisciplinary engineering for demanding applications, for example aerospace or vacuum, fluidic system, process engineering, scientific instruments, military industries, MedTech, …
- Strong background in mechanic, electromechanics systems, fluidic system is an asset.
- Active team player, creative and open-minded, strong communicative skills
Nice to have’s:
- Experience in slip ring design or use of slip rings in higher assemblies
- Broad engineering background in mechanical, electrical, and/or aerospace engineering
- Any specialist expertise is welcome (electrical design, thermal design, vacuum technology, electrical signal transfer like Ethernet, video…, materials and processes know-how)
- Knowledge of SE methods (V-model, Verification, Requirements Management)
- Hands-on skills for programming, machining, electronics
