Advisor for the MSCA of the European Research and Innovation Programme Horizon Europe (60-80%)

Euresearch is a non-profit association with offices in all the Swiss regions and a Network Office in Bern. Its mission is to inform and advise Swiss applicants on the European Research & Innovation Programme Horizon Europe, and on related European programmes. Euresearch is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation. Euresearch is neither a funding agency nor a research institution and is not active on a political level.

For the Euresearch Network Office in Bern we are looking for an Advisor for the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) of the Horizon Europe (HE) Programme.

Starting date: 1 September 2024 or upon agreement.

In the role of an advisor, you will inform and advise researchers and innovators from both the public and the private sector in Switzerland on prospective and running projects. Your main activities will consist of: 

  • obtaining, processing and disseminating information related to the Marie Sk?odowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) on various channels (Euresearch Network, website, social media, etc.)
  • inform, advise and train active or prospective clients individually and in groups regarding the MSCA in the European Framework Programmes

We are looking for a candidate who holds a PhD and has already worked in or managed a European project. Knowledge of the Swiss research & innovation landscape is an advantage.

The ideal advisor candidate enjoys supporting researchers in the process of obtaining funding opportunities and is a strong communicator, service-oriented, enjoys networking, likes to work in an international environment and brings a solution-oriented mindset to our lively team. You communicate fluently in English and in at least one national language.

The place of work is Bern with flexibility of teleworking. The position involves well plannable national and international travel activities. Euresearch offers flexible working conditions in a dynamic environment.
