Senior Systems Engineer Remote Access

Your Mission:

As a Senior Systems Engineer specialising in Remote Access, you’ll play a key role in enhancing our industry-leading Client VPN and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions. These services ensure that customers can securely and seamlessly connect to their corporate networks—no matter where they are in the world.

You’ll be involved in projects from the ground up—starting with conceptual design, moving through to deployment, and continuing with ongoing operations. Your expertise will directly influence the development of our solutions, which are already deployed in thousands of environments worldwide.

• Innovate at Scale: Integrate and enhance OEM software within our Open Systems SASE platform, serving 10,000+ deployments across customers’ premises, cloud environments, and our own Kubernetes-based cloud.


• Collaborate & Improve: Develop a deep understanding of OEM software and collaborate closely with vendors to continually improve its capabilities.


• Own the Service: Build end-to-end services around this software, including deployment, configuration management, tooling, and monitoring. You’ll own the process and make a tangible impact on how our customers experience secure access.


• Document & Educate: Create comprehensive operational documentation and educational materials to ensure smooth deployment and long-term success.

What You Bring:

We’re looking for someone with a strong passion for networks, automation, and solving complex challenges. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation and collaboration are key.

Your Qualifications:

For this position, we are looking for candidates who are passionate about networks, automation, and complex problem-solving.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• 5+ years of experience in a related field, with strong exposure to networking technologies (dynamic routing, firewalling, TCP/IP, etc.).


• Solid experience with Linux/UNIX-based systems and strong software engineering skills (scripting languages like Bash, Perl, Python and compiled languages like Go, C#, or C++).


• Proficiency in English.

Bonus Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Go, Perl, Bash and/or K8s.


• Expertise in authentication protocols like OAuth2, SAML, OpenID, or LDAP.


• A solid understanding of network security concepts and best practices.


• Experience with agile development and system/software testing.
