Your main tasks
- Innovative Electronic Design & Development: Drive and lead the analysis, concept generation, and development of state-of-the-art electronic solutions and system architectures for medical devices
- Compliance & Standards: Deliver reliable electronic solutions that comply with medical device standards (IEC 60601-1,ISO 11608)
- Documentation and Traceability: Establish electronics requirements, create design documentation, verification test plans and reports
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent the electronics team in cross-functional assignments and alignments. Ensure the correct integration in the overall system
- Problem Solving & Design Reviews: Critically review electronic designs and documentation to ensure functionality and quality. Perform root cause analyses and provide problem solutions
- Verification: Assist the verification team with HW-related verifications, including CB certifications for IEC 60601-1 and EMC
- Production: Lead electronics manufacturing and testing with an eye on quality, timeline and costs
Your profile
- Degree level in electronic engineer or a related field with a minimum of 5 years practical experience
- Track record of developing embedded HW solutions, ideally within the medical sector
- Thorough knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes and test methodologies
- Team orientated, communicative, responsive and customer focused
- You show willingness to expand your capabilities and to share your knowledge with the team
- The ability to work within tight deadlines and manage your time effectively
- Experience of the following tools are considered an advantage: Altium Designer, DOORS Next
- Very good knowledge of German and English (B2 or higher preferred)
