As a member of the Smart Infrastructure communications team, this individual contributor will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing the digital communications and campaigning strategy for SI Buildings (SI B) Unit. This includes managing digital channels, leading demand generation efforts, setting and implementing the strategy and topic campaign for SI buildings.
The role also entails a strong focus on data analytics and reporting, using data-driven insights to refine campaign strategies, foster lead generation, and continuously improve digital performance.
Your new responsibilities
- Develop and implement the global digital communication strategy for dedicated tech unit, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs
- Lead campaign strategy, design and execution for SI Buildings, driving demand and lead generation through multi-channel campaigns that increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion
- Guide the creation and coordination of digital campaign assets such as whitepapers, nurturing emails, social media posts, imagery, landing pages, campaign flows, and reports, ensuring they are consistent in quality and optimized for engagement and lead conversion
- Manage campaign budgets across all digital activities, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that campaigns deliver maximum ROI
- Ensure continuous optimization of campaigns, adjusting tactics based on performance metrics and analytical insights
- Oversee the creation and distribution of campaign assets, ensuring they align with objectives and generate high-quality leads
- Own KPI development and ensure the communications organization becomes more data-driven, using key metrics to evaluate and enhance digital performance, with tools including CM Cockpit, Dashboards, SieSales
- Apply relevant governance standards, policies, and procedures to, and ensure consistency, quality, and transparency of SI messaging and BU communications
- Research, communicate, and promote SI B's success stories, products, and innovations, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Regions, and other Business Units to achieve objectives
Your skills and experience
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of work experience in performing the planning, directing, executing, and measurement of communications to internal and external partners
- Ability to research, analyse, plan, and execute in the areas of campaign development, message development, communications vehicle development, and management and communications effectiveness measurement
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and networking skills
- Experience working across all communications channels – internal and external – with a strong focus on new digital tools
- Strong teaming skills including cross-cultural skills
- Ability to track and analyze campaign results, and ability to work under time constraints with multiple projects
- Fluency in both English and German
