Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Area General Manager and, in his absence, to the Chairman, the Hotel Manager's role is to guarantee the economic profitability of the establishment for which he/she is responsible, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations for people and property.
He/she is responsible for the administrative, budgetary, logistical and event management aspects of the business and the guest statisfaction.
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Maintain the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize hotel services, including front office, housekeeping, F&B, and spa operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, addressing feedback and ensuring their needs are met.
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Represent the hotel within the local community and the wider hospitality industry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a senior hospitality management role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Expertise in hotel operations, including guest services, F&B, and financial management.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business success.
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German or French is a strong advantage.
- A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of a luxury hotel environment.
