Tool and Equipment Engineer
The Tool & Equipment Engineer is part of the Production Support team. The position holder will be the leading person in equipment maintenance and repair, as well as replacement. Being responsible for a defined field allows to build up specialized know-how for specific processes and respective equipment. This function adds value by improving process efficiency both from the technological side as well as with classical LEAN tools.
Your tasks
- Provide administration and supervision of external partners on site
- Create and maintain:
- Calibration instructions
- Process maps
- Technical templates (Process Parameter Sheets, Machine Setup etc.)
- Work instructions
- TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Dossiers
- TTE (Tool and Test Equipment equivalency documentations according Arinc 668 standard)
- GEM (Ground Equipment Manuals)
- SAP equipment database (ZITOOL)
- Implement LEAN by executing 5S, Kanban and Root Cause Analysis
- Execute Simple mechanical and manufacturing tasks
- Design and modify equipment which is not COTS (commercial of the shelf)
- Promote research & development for supported processes
- Assure cost reduction of supported processes, by automation and other efficiency improvements
Your profile
- Education: Bachelor or Master’s in engineering, aviation or equivalent,
- Working experience in in aerospace industry or equivalent industrial environment
- MRO and/or Engine know-how desired
- Working experience in designing and drawing of components with CAD; desirable experience with Fusion 360
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid Communication and presentation skills
- Independent, precise and responsible work
- Open-minded, dedicated team player
- High safety, quality and cost awareness
- Strong in MS office, in particular Excel, and SAP
- Language: Fluent in German (C1), English (Level B2)
