Senior Python Developer (m/f/d)

For an innovative company in the Basel area, we are looking for a Senior Python Developer with extensive experience who will take responsibility for developing complex software solutions and leading a technical team.

Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of scalable Python applications with a focus on software architecture
• Creation of RESTful APIs for integration with various systems and data sources
• Analysis and optimization of data structures, especially in JSON formats and graph databases (e.g., Neo4j)
• Technical leadership of projects and coordination of development activities
• Ensuring code quality through reviews and implementation of best practices
• Close collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement innovative solutions

Requirements:

• Completed degree in Computer Science or related fields
• At least 5 years of experience in software development with Python
• In-depth knowledge of web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask)
• Solid experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON data formats
• Knowledge of graph databases (e.g., Neo4j) and their implementation
• Very good understanding of software architecture, including common design patterns
• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and Continuous Integration/Deployment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Very good English skills are essential
