Position Overview
As a member of the Corporate Total Rewards Team, the Global Talent Mobility Partner contributes to the execution, and management of our global talent mobility programs to develop, attract, and retain top talent, promote employee engagement, and foster employee wellbeing. This individual contributor will work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders such as relocation, tax and immigration vendors, Total Rewards team members, Corporate Tax, Accounting, T&E, Payroll, Legal, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, HR Business Partners, and other colleagues.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Madison, WI office location. For those not local to the Madison area, relocation support will be offered.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Be a strategic advisor to business leaders including CEO staff and HR, understand talent and business needs, deliver and advise on mobility solutions and make sound recommendations accordingly.
- Manage all international talent mobility matters, including but not limited to international assignments (short-term and long-term), one-way transfers and cross-country commuting arrangements.
- Be the central point of coordination to ensure all internal stakeholders are engaged depending on the assignment/ relocation type.
- Initiate all assignments and relocations with the relevant external vendors.
- Monitor and track exceptions requests and make recommendations for consideration in line with internal governance framework.
- Provide assignment cost projections to HR partners and the business to inform decision making.
- Work closely with global mobility tax vendor to ensure tax compliance across all international assignments and relocations and conduct periodic audits.
- Lead all international immigration matters for new hires, existing employees, and mobile employees. This includes but is not limited to: work permits, visas, sponsorships and work authorizations. Be the main point of contact on all immigration matters for international countries for employees, leaders and HR.
- Work closely with external global immigration counsel to ensure compliance and conduct periodic audits.
- Manage the leader and assignee experience by providing onboarding sessions, regular touch points and guiding employees through the relocation journey.
- Manage all employee-driven temporary and permanent relocation requests. Assess risk, impacts and opportunities and engage with relevant stakeholders to complete a full analysis. Make recommendations to the business.
- Manage mobility vendor performance in partnership with the Global Talent Mobility Team – assess and monitor vendor performance and ensure service levels are met. Ensure adequate governance is in place and adhered to.
- Provide feedback on mobility policies to inform future changes.
- Make recommendations to create, simplify, and standardize mobility processes and ensure appropriate controls are in place in line with local legislation and compliance requirements.
- Participate in vendor RFPs as necessary.
- Liaise and collaborate with internal mobility design lead, mobility vendors, data privacy teams, and legal counsel on mobility processes, enhancements and governance.
- Build relationships with internal and external mobility stakeholders and systems partners ensuring accuracy and a positive employee experience. Contribute to the creation of training and support materials for HR, leaders and employees.
- Manage and respond to employee, leader and HR queries using the HR case management system. Create and suggest content for talent mobility programs to enable self-service.
- Generate reports and summarize findings, as appropriate.
- Participate in and provide input for audits as needed.
- Support M&A integrations as needed.
- Act as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders.

Skills
- Knowledge of global mobility, expatriate assignment and domestic relocation.
- Experience in international immigration.
- Understanding of mobility tax compliance requirements.
- Experience in providing mobility consulting services to leaders and employees.
- Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or other relevant concentration.
- 7+ years of experience in global mobility.
- Good knowledge of HR Information Systems, ideally Workday.
- Fluent to read, write, and speak English.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluent to read, write, and speak in one or more languages other than English (e.g. French, German, Japanese).
- Certification in Global Mobility, or Human Resources (e.g. GMS, CIPD, CEBS).
- Working knowledge of Workday HCMS, Equus/ AssignmentPro or similar mobility/ HRIS system.
Physical and Travel Requirements
- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
- Ability to work seated for approximately 90% of a typical working day. Ability to work standing for approximately 10% of a typical working day.
- Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.
- Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
Salary Range:
$109,000.00 - $174,000.00The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
