As part of the project management team you will be responsible for the technical coordination during the execution of gas turbines and it’s auxiliaries.
Your tasks
As technical coordinator in gas turbines you will be responsible for the execution of gas turbines and it’s auxiliaries in Combined Cycle Power Plant Projects. Ensure on-budget, on-schedule delivery of all components and associated documentation. Drive all technical interface coordination between our customers, the internal engineering teams and our suppliers. Provide support during the procurement process of all auxiliaries, ensure non-conformances during manufacturing are resolved in a timely manner. Support staffing of site activities during erection and commissioning of the machinery and ensure that communication with the engineering teams is flawless.
Your profile
Degree in mechanical (preferred) and/or electrical engineering. Between 3-5 years’ experience as technical project manager in the field of turbomachinery, ideally for gas turbines. PMI certification is an advantage. Track record for on-site activities e.g. commissioning of turbomachinery systems would be a strong asset. Strong analytical skills and commitment to fast resolution of problems. Excellent command of English, German is an advantage and further knowledge of Italian would be an asset. Willing to travel globally 10-15%, (travel can be up to 10 days in a row).
