📌 In a few words

We are looking for an Operational Transition Manager to join our team and accompany our customers in Zürich.

🎯 Your mission

Our client is a Swiss company active in the development of innovative solutions for air traffic control, primarily radar visualization, flight plan management and decision-support tools for air traffic controllers. The Operational Transition Manager will ensure the operational readiness for the safe and timely deployment of capabilities into the ATC environment – clearance for operation, the application of established procedures, governance and the generation of deliverables

💼 Your profile

Safety (SAFv5):

• Supports the CM role by ensuring operational changes (procedures and materials) undergo safety assessments.

• Conducts Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA) when necessary.

• Organizes safety assessment workshops and prepares Safety Case Documents.

• Collaborates with the System Safety Expert (SSE).

Training (OPS/T & SIM) Planning and Delivery:

• Coordinates with Domain Managers Training (DMT), System Monitoring & Control (SMC), and Application Management (TPM).

• Oversees training logistics (room booking, invitations) and maintains an overview of training schedules.

User Acceptance Test (UAT):

• Plans and delivers UAT in collaboration with Business Analysts (BA) and overall test plans.

• Conducts independent final UAT with Domain Managers Equipment (DME), in coordination with CATT.

Transition Management:

• Works closely with RMA to generate and approve the OPS Transition Plan.

• Identifies deployment scenarios, capacity challenges, and staffing needs.

• Acts as the OPS transition manager and ensures proper publication of Service Orders and Information (SO/IN).

• Ensures governance, deliverables, and Clearance for Operation (CfO) according to the ICM framework.

Application Management Support:

• Coordinates OPS expert resources to support application management.

• Communicates with roster offices to ensure smooth operations.
