Job Description Summary

The scope extends across BD business units and all EMEA countries. The activities are related with regulatory responsibilities to execute regulatory processes and provide support (with close oversight) to projects and activities to create, implement and maintain harmonized and efficient processes, systems & tools, and metrics to achieve the EMEA regulatory objectives effectively. The role will also support the wider EMEA regulatory affairs team as required.

The Regulatory Affairs team is helping to ensure speed to market for BD’s innovative medical technologies by having an acutely patient-centric mindset.
About the role
As Regulatory Affairs Trainee you will learn and develop from executing and supporting the activities of the Regulatory Affairs Operations team. The scope extends across BD business units and all EMEA countries. The activities are related with regulatory responsibilities to execute regulatory processes and provide support (with close oversight) to projects and activities to create, implement and maintain harmonized and efficient processes, systems & tools, and metrics to achieve the EMEA regulatory objectives effectively. The role will also support the wider EMEA regulatory affairs team as required.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Support to prepare, implement and maintain the harmonized regulatory documents within BD quality management system (as procedures, work instructions, training matrix, change controls, CAPAs, and others) to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Support to create/implement, update, and maintain working tools and databases to support EMEA BDX RA processes and activities execution and facilitate collaboration within EMEA RA organization and with key stakeholders.
- Support EMEA BDX RA teams and their stakeholders with data management (metrics & dashboards), processes/activities, and RA systems & tools automation and improvement ad-hoc requests and projects (implement and maintain excellence program management to execute projects or quick continuous improvement actions that will drive harmonization and efficiency within EMEA RA organization).
- Support to create/implement, update, and maintain metrics and dashboards related and relevant to EMEA RA organization and stakeholders.
- Understand and follow local, regional, and corporate procedures applicable to role.
- Understand BD culture and values and reflect them in his/ her own behavior.
- Support the wider EMEA regulatory affairs team as required.
About you
- Educated to a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in scientific or engineering field
- Internship Agreement with the University is required.
- Advanced in spoken and written English.
- Self-motivated. Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team with high oversight.
- Organized, analytical thinker with good attention to detail. Able to translate problems into solution and to use data to recommend business decisions within regulatory affairs.
- Good computer skills (Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
