Job Description:
Oversee the day to day HR needs in Latin America, including but not limited to: payroll, onboarding, off boarding, HRIS enhancements, benefits administration, and ensuring all compliance requirements are being met. In addition, the role will at times assist with the increase of the recruitment volume in the Americas.
The current countries in scope include Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Brazil.
Main Responsibilities

Oversee the payroll process and retirement benefits administration for Latin America (Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Brazil)

Assist in automating and optimizing the payroll process, as well as assist in exploring solutions to integrate payroll from the LatAm entities into one process for LatAm

Be the point of contact for regional employees to seek guidance, file grievances, and ensure internal Gunvor policies are being followed

Assist with the recruitment operations for LatAm region, including sourcing and screening candidates and coordinating interviews

Conduct new hire orientations for new employees on their first day

Be the point person for ad-hoc Workday reporting needs for LatAm with the assistance of the global HRIS team

Assist the HR team in maintaining employee record information in Workday by recording hirings, transfers, job changes and terminations

Administer the day to day needs of LatAm HR (payroll, benefits, joiners/leavers, exits, mandatory compensation requirements, etc.)

Assist the HR team during the onboarding process by providing information packets, gathering withholding and other payroll information, obtaining signatures for documents, and documenting onboarding procedures for the LatAm countries
Pro file / Key Skills

5-10 years in a Human Resources role

Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize tasks and show initiative

Fluency in English (both written and oral) as daily work is in English

Ability to work independently and adjust to rapidly changing environment

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs

Proactive, discrete, responsible and punctual

Correct, helpful, polite and positive

Ability to travel to the US required

Previous administrative work and experience in Colombia and Peru

Administrative experience in Brazil would be a plus

Knowledge of Colombian labor standards

Vocational education minimum
