Asa Manager in our Sustainability team your role will be instrumental in
supporting our clients to tackle some of today’s key challenges by leveraging
your knowledge and experience in various sustainability topics such as climate
change, circular economy, or sustainable finance. Overall, you will be managing
our strategy, setting targets, measuring, and reporting on progress, as well as
supporting go-to-market initiatives to grow Deloitte’s sustainability
proposition.
How you can
make an impact
- Leading assurance engagements with day-to-day
responsibility for project management, team management, the quality of our
work and for a smooth process, including seamless collaboration between
ESG experts, audit teams and clients. - Manage assurance engagements in line with the
assurance standards ISAE 3000 and ISAE 3410 or equivalent. - Bringing an auditor’s experience with value
adding advisory perspectives to support our clients on their ‘Readiness
Journey’ towards ESG reporting and assurance. - Develop/maintain strong
working relationships with client’s key business decision makers to communicate
value and inform them of the firm's scope of services. Take responsibility for
supporting the engagementleadership in identifying and pursuing new
assurance opportunities. - Support in developing and improving our ESG
assurance work programmes, methodologies, toolkits, team development and
resolving complex ESG assurance issues. - Identify/communicate trends, developments, and
key performance drivers relevant to your clients and potential clients. - Keeping updated with the evolving ESG
landscape including relevant frameworks and regulations (such as EU
Taxonomy, Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), Corporate
Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), ESRS, GRI, TCFD, TNFD etc.)
Who we are
looking for
- You have experience
driving audit engagements, with a strong foundation in auditing standards
and audit methodology - Experience driving ESG
assurance engagements including a detailed understanding of assurance
standards such as ISAE 3000 and ISAE 3410 - Proven planning and
project management skills in complex projects and experience with building
respected client relationships and internal and external networks - Strong analytical and
problem-solving capabilities, with a hands-on approach and attention to
detail when required - Excellent oral and
written communication skills in English and German. French and/or Italian
is a plus. - Bachelor’s or Master’s
degree - Willingness to
motivate and develop high performing diverse teams
