Ready to shape the future of IP/MPLS networks? Join us as a Senior IP Network Engineer! Drive impactful B2C and B2B projects, innovate with new platforms, and craft robust design and configuration guidelines.
Tasks:
- Feasibility studies and impact analysis for new services and customer projects in the B2C and B2B sectors based on IP/MPLS network
- Evaluation of new platforms, components, and products as well as definition of specifications for suppliers
- Development and elaboration of design and configuration guidelines (HLD, LLD, Operation guideline) for IP/MPLS network
- Lifecycle management / Capacity management of relevant IP/MPLS platforms
- Performing tests in the laboratory to verify new services, features, SW and HW versions
- Access/aggregation platform migration:
- Perform detailed planning & engineering of large-scale access/aggregation platform rollout for new seamless MPLS platform
- Migration of existing residential, B2B and MBH services to new platform
Requirements:
- Expert-level practical experience in design and engineering of service provider networks and MPLS-based services (5-10 years of experience), including:
- Apply industry standard engineering best practices when working with critical SP infrastructure
- Able to produce high quality engineering documentation
- Able to validate network designs by structured lab testing including consistent documentation of results
- Able to work with network and service inventory systems to ensure all infrastructure and services are documented as per internal standards - Expert-level understanding, and engineering experience related to protocols and services used in service provider networks (such as BGP, BGP-LU, ISIS, IP/MPLS, SR-MPLS)
- Deep technical know-how and engineering experience working with
- Juniper JunOS and/or
- Nokia routing platforms - Fluent in written and spoken English
