Main Responsibilities
1) To conduct flow cytometry workshops for customers according to their needs. This includes providing training on instrument operation, troubleshooting and maintenance as well as applications such as cell sorting, analysis and cell biology techniques.
2) To perform technical support functions including product demonstrations, customer visits, presentations, workshops and trouble shooting.
3) To provide advice to customers regarding the use of instruments and reagents.
4) To train new staff members when required.
5) To actively promote the sale of company products by maintaining good relationships with existing customers and generating interest among potential customers.
6) To attend conferences and exhibitions as appropriate.
7) To give talks or presentations at meetings and conferences as required.
8) To write articles for publication in scientific journals or magazines as agreed with supervisor.
9) To assist in the development of new products and services as requested by supervisor.
10) To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by line manager or Director.
Requirements
-
BA in Life Science discipline (e.g. Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Microbiology, Biochemistry).

Proven experience using Flow Cytometer instrumentation (FACS, FACS Aria, FACS Diva, FACS Calibur, etc.) and Cell Sorting (Cell Sorter).

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to interact professionally with customers

Self motivated and able to work independently

Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
