Job Summary

Are you passionate about teaching German in an inspiring international school environment? The Inter-Community School Zurich (ICS), the oldest international school in the Greater Zurich Area, invites applications for a dedicated MYP & DP German Language Acquisition Teacher to join our Secondary School team. Located just outside Zurich, ICS provides an enriching educational experience in a picturesque setting near the Zumikon Nature Reserve.

• Teach engaging MYP and DP German classes across various proficiency levels.
• Develop challenging and inclusive learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
• Utilize effective classroom management strategies with a focus on academic, social, and emotional learning.
• Integrate technology to support and enhance student learning.
• Provide both formative and summative assessments, with regular, proactive communication with students and parents on learning progress.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department and IB Coordinators to meet curriculum standards.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary projects, extra-curricular activities, and the student well-being programme.

The initial contract is for three years and is renewable.
