The Mobility, International Banking and Financial Services (MIBS) is composed of:
- International Retail Banking activities, with a network of banks in Europe, Africa and the French overseas departments & territories (DROM-COM);
- Mobility activities and Specialized finance, with consumer credit activities, floor plan and leasing activities, and equipment finance.
Within the Regulatory Affairs Office (RAO), the Regulatory Manager will support the Head of Regulatory Affairs in dealing with the Regulatory expectations for the MIBS pillar. This involves:
1. Coordination of meeting requirements from the ECB/JST in relation with our entities/ Bus, review and providing comments to the JST on the draft reports.
2. Follow-up of all supervisory remediation for the MIBS pillar.
Main responsibilities
Concretely, the Regulatory Manager will:
- Interact regularly with the Supervisory body of the Groupand and others Business Units.
- Coordinate the supervisory examinations (OSI, deep-dives, thematic reviews);
- Interact with IGAD to ensure that our request for closures is correctly formulated.
- Ensure deliverables of our entities/Bus are of good quality and sent in a timely manner.
- Monitor the closure of supervisory remediation actions.
- Contribute, as needed, to the follow-up of key remediation projects.

Hierarchical positioning
The supervisory affairs manager will report directly to the Head of RAO.
Main business skills
- At least 10 years working experience in credit risk, and in particular (but not limited to) with a good understanding credit risk models and IRB strategy.
- Good knowledge of the regulatory framework of the bank, as relevant for our regulators, such as the CRR, Basel IV and EBA guidelines,
- Good understanding of topics related to data quality (e.g. in the context of the RDARR regulation)
- Good knowledge of the Societe Generale GSCRO, in particular the businesses of the MIBS pillar.
- Ability to work in an international and multi-cultural environment.
- Fluency in French and in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to manage high-level contacts.
- Analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, capacity to challenge and to work under pressure.
- Teamwork mentality.
