Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.<br>The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-Onsite<br>This role is contributing to the team in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Main stakeholders are Electrification division.<br>You will be mainly accountable for:<br>• Support, collaboration and independent execution of design work in SolidWorks (2d/3d) within the framework of development and product care projects<br>• Assist and support in the area of product change management <br>• Creation and maintenance of part lists<br>• Support and collaboration in product master data maintenance<br>• Procurement of new components and prototypes<br>• Assist and support in creating Environmental Product Declarations (EPD’s)<br>• Creation of documentation</p><h3 style="font-size: 21px; font-family: ABBvoice-Bold;">Qualifications for the role</h3><p style="font-family: ABBvoice-Regular; font-size: 16px;"><ul><li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or in a related field of study</li><li>You are at ease communicating in either German and/or English</li><li>You are confident in handling MS Office and CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks</li><li>You are able to work independently and responsibly</li><li>You are curious and initiative</li><li>A professional qualification as an automation technician, automation fitter, switchgear fitter, electronics technician or similar is a plus</li><li>You hold a current valid VISA/work permit for Switzerland or a confirmation for a mandatory internship from your university</li></ul></p></ul><h3 style="font-family: ABBvoice-Bold; font-size: 21px;">More about us</h3><p style="font-size: 16px;">ABB Schaffhausen is part of the ABB Electrification branch and provides low voltage products and compact solutions.
