Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive individual to join our team as a Supervisor for our Cellular Router Assembly, Test, and Packout operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly, testing, and packaging of cellular routers to ensure adherence to quality standards and efficient production processes. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Cellular Router Assembly, Test, and Packout team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on assembly, testing, and packaging procedures, as well as safety protocols and quality standards.
- Monitor production schedules and workflow to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Perform regular quality inspections to ensure that products meet established specifications and standards.
- Conduct quality audits to evaluate adherence to quality management systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Address any issues or deviations from standards promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Optimize production processes and workflow to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Manage inventory levels and material flow to support production requirements and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, including Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) precautions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering and Quality Assurance, to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.
- Provide performance feedback and conduct performance evaluations for team members.
- Identify training needs and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Maintain a positive work environment and foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Generate metric reports on production performance, quality metrics, and other key performance indicators to senior management.
- Ensure all equipment and stations are running in compliance within Manufacturing Software system requirements.
- Ensure all transactions are performed for Manufacturing Software systems.
- Perform employee performance evaluations.
- May need to perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in manufacturing operations, preferably in electronics assembly or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of assembly, testing, and packaging processes, as well as quality management principles.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and manufacturing software systems (e.g., SAP, Agile).
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and practices preferred.
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on assembly, testing, and packaging.
- Working knowledge of quality audits and experience in implementing corrective actions based on audit findings.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is CAD $53,200 - $83,600. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee's total compensation package.
