Job Objective
Reporting to Accounting Manager, the Junior Staff Accountant will perform a variety of accounts payable-focused accounting activities. We are looking for a hands-on leader to work in a collaborative and independent setting with strong work ethic and consistent performance with a sense of urgency and commitment.
Main Responsibilities
- Process payment requests, revenue share payments and out of pocket expense requests
- Communicate and coordinate with Talents throughout the organization to ensure proper invoice coding
- Manage the corporate credit card process including issuing new cards, cancelling cards, review of corporate expenses and following up with Talents for uncoded expenses
- Set up and process payments for approval in our bank
- Actively participate in building positive team culture at MCI USA, and build strong relationships with division leaders, business unit leaders and all MCI USA talents
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of related accounting and financial experience
- Working knowledge of GAAP principles and associated internal controls
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to contribute to multiple projects and work successfullywithin a geographically dispersed team environment
- Adept time-management, organizational skills, and strict attention to detail
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills

Specific Technical Skills
- Microsoft Offics suite (advanced Excel proficiency required)
